My canvas paintings below were inspired by the work of Kathy Womack. She is a local artist with a gallery in Austin, Texas. I learned of her work from my sister, Robin, and I fell in love. Immediately I picked up some acrylic paint and canvas and began to paint. At first I really just tried to recreate her work, but after a while, I started to make my own paintings. Inspiration is a beautiful thing. We all get inspired from other ideas, but the important thing is to expound upon it and make it our own!
